What did your stay at Messen mean for your artistic work?
Time to reflect, study, research, experiment and create new works as well as collaborate.
What were the results?
Works created at Messen were shown in 2013 at Tsi Ku Chai Gallery in Hong Kong. Other works and experimental modes evolved into projects presented at Lingnan University in Hong Kong. The MEOAW Project is still a work in progress.
What, if it did, did your stay mean for you in your artistic work and development?
Breathing space to work and think in a stimulating new environment and meet other artists.
What did your stay do for your knowledge of Hardanger and Norway?
We really enjoyed immersing ourselves in Norwegian music, poetry, opera, nature and culture. Anna especially enjoyed all the material from the local library and the very helpful librarian.
How has the stay influenced your contact with other artists?
We consider the other artists that we met during the time as ongoing friends and collaborators.
