What did your stay at Messen mean for your artistic work?
Messen has been a great opportunity to totally focus on creating a new piece of work in a beautiful environment, the only thing that distract is nature, how good can it get!
What were the results? I finished a complete bumblebee costume in one month. I worked really hard and did not have all the right materials with me so I had to make some change back home, but still that was quite an achievement.
What, if it did, did your stay mean for you in your artistic work and development? It reminds me that the city is for me not the right distraction, and that nature gives me the perfect vibe to work out my dreams. Especially this extreme kind of nature.
What did your stay do for your knowledge of Hardanger and Norway?
I will come back to Norway at the Kjerringøy Land Art Biennale, because I love the landscape, the scale of it compared to The Netherlands. Norway remided me that you need to look where you walk and that is a different relaxation of the mind, I loved it.
There is something behind he moundtains that you can not see, and that the light makes you experience your human idea of a day different.
How has the stay influenced your contact with other artists? Not so much, I think there should be more artist (but at the end we where just with 2, which is not normal).
